Privacy Policy for ANGITS Web Ecosystem

Your privacy is highly important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how ANGITS ("we", "us", or "our") processes, collects, and protects data across all web properties, applications, and network infrastructure managed by us, including but not limited to angits.net, angits.com, angits.nl, angits.eu, and any affiliated subdomains or dashboards.

1. Edge Infrastructure & Server Logs

When you visit any website or application within the ANGITS ecosystem, network traffic is routed through Cloudflare, Inc. acting as our Reverse Proxy and Content Delivery Network (CDN). Cloudflare processes technical data to optimize performance, mitigate DDoS attacks, and enforce Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules.

Additionally, our local origin servers automatically write technical log files (access and error logs). This data is technically necessary to ensure network security, prevent malicious exploits, and guarantee system stability. This data includes:

• IP address (processed at the edge, truncated/anonymized where possible)
• Date and time of the network request
• Requested resource path and HTTP status code
• Browser type, full user-agent string, device type, and operating system
• Approximate origin (country/region) and the referring page, where the browser or edge supplies it

Data Retention: Local server logs are strictly used for security forensics and system diagnostics. They are automatically rotated and permanently deleted after 14 days.
Legal basis: Processing is based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) to maintain a secure, secure-by-design, and stable digital infrastructure.

2. Server-Side Performance Tracking & Google Analytics

To monitor operational stability and optimize the user experience of our custom applications, we collect non-identifiable usage statistics via Google Analytics (GA4), provided by Google Ireland Limited.

To maximize your privacy, we do not use traditional third-party tracking scripts directly in your browser. Instead, we deploy a modern hybrid architecture: all request payloads are proxied through our own dedicated, centralized first-party server-side tagging gateway managed under the ANGITS infrastructure.

• Data Minimization at the Gateway: Before any telemetry data is forwarded to Google Analytics, our proxy layer strictly strips out all Personally Identifiable Information (PII), including your full IP address and device fingerprints.
• No Cross-Site Tracking: Data processed through our infrastructure is never used to track your behavior across unrelated third-party websites, nor is it sold or shared with external advertising networks for marketing purposes.
• Consent: Performance and analytics tracking is only initiated after you explicitly provide consent via our on-screen choices modal.

Aggregate usage statistics that our own dashboards keep — independent of Google Analytics — are described in the next section.

3. Statistics Dashboards & Operational History

Several of our applications (for example the EV charger availability dashboards) maintain their own lightweight, on-disk history so they can show trends over time in an internal, sign-in-only statistics view. This data is kept as aggregate counts only: it records "how many", never "who". No IP address, and no record that can be traced back to an individual visitor, is stored in this history.

Depending on the application, this operational history may include:

• Service metrics over time — e.g. how many EV chargers were available versus the total at a location, sampled periodically.
• Aggregate audience counts over time — how many people were viewing a dashboard, and how many had opted in to an optional feature such as availability notifications. These are simple tallies per moment in time.
• Visitor geography (country level only) — a per-country, per-day count of visitors, derived solely from the coarse two-letter country code Cloudflare provides at the edge (CF-IPCountry). No city, GPS, precise geolocation, or IP address is stored — only a number of visitors per country.
• Technical signals your browser sends — such as your user-agent (browser and device type), preferred language, coarse country-level location, and the referring page. These are used to render the dashboard correctly, to detect browser capabilities (for instance, whether your browser supports push notifications), and to compile the aggregate statistics above. Where any of this is retained by the dashboards themselves, it is stored only in aggregate, non-identifying form; the raw values otherwise live only transiently or in the short-lived server logs described in Section 1.

Data Retention: Detailed, fine-grained history is short-lived and is automatically pruned after roughly half a day. Condensed hourly summaries and the per-country visitor tallies are retained for up to approximately 90 days. Because everything is aggregated, there is nothing that identifies an individual to retain, correct, or erase.

Access: These statistics views are not public. They are restricted to authorized administrators who sign in, either with a local account or via Microsoft Entra ID (single sign-on). For those administrators, the account identifier they sign in with is processed solely to authenticate them and secure access; ordinary visitors are never asked to sign in.

Looking ahead (future-proofing): As we add locations, dashboards, or metrics, we may collect similar technical and usage signals — for example additional device or browser characteristics, coarse location, or feature-usage counts — for the same operational and statistical purposes described here. In all such cases the data is minimized and retained only in aggregate, non-identifying form unless and until this policy is updated to describe any broader use.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

Our applications utilize minimal data storage mechanisms:

• Essential Cookies (Cloudflare): Cloudflare may drop necessary cookies (such as __cf_bm) solely to detect malicious bot activity and protect the infrastructure. These cookies do not gather personal profiles.
• Functional Storage: We may use local browser storage or essential session cookies to remember your functional preferences (such as your chosen notification toggle states, visualization layouts, auto-reload interval, or consent criteria).
• Viewer-count Cookie: Some dashboards set a functional cookie holding a random, rotating identifier with a lifetime of about 90 seconds. It exists only so the live "people viewing" indicator can avoid counting the same browser twice; it carries no name, account, or profile, and is not used to track you across pages or sites.
• Sign-in Session (administrators only): The internal statistics views set a short-lived session cookie when an administrator signs in, purely to keep them authenticated for that session. This is never set for ordinary visitors.
• Third-Party Marketing Cookies: Because we utilize a custom first-party server-side data routing scheme, zero marketing, targeting, or advertising tracking cookies from third-party networks are dropped onto your device.

5. Data Security

As an organization managing identity, access, and security-focused utilities, we implement rigorous technical and organizational security measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. All connections across the ANGITS domain portfolio are strictly enforced via encrypted HTTPS (TLS 1.2/1.3).

6. Your Rights under GDPR

Under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you hold specific rights regarding any data relating to you, including the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, and the right to restrict or object to processing.

Given that our application layers heavily anonymize and truncate data at the gateway stage, we generally do not retain records that can be linked back to you individually. However, for any inquiries regarding your privacy rights, you can contact us directly.

Dit privacybeleid legt uit hoe ANGITS ("wij", "ons" of "onze") gegevens verwerkt, verzamelt en beschermt binnen alle websites, applicaties en netwerkinfrastructuur die door ons worden beheerd, waaronder — maar niet beperkt tot — angits.net, angits.com, angits.nl, angits.eu, en alle bijbehorende subdomeinen of dashboards.

1. Edge-infrastructuur & serverlogs

Wanneer u een website of applicatie binnen het ANGITS-ecosysteem bezoekt, wordt het netwerkverkeer geleid via Cloudflare, Inc., dat fungeert als onze reverse proxy en Content Delivery Network (CDN). Cloudflare verwerkt technische gegevens om de prestaties te optimaliseren, DDoS-aanvallen te beperken en Web Application Firewall (WAF)-regels te handhaven.

Daarnaast leggen onze eigen origin-servers automatisch technische logbestanden vast (access- en errorlogs). Deze gegevens zijn technisch noodzakelijk om de netwerkbeveiliging te waarborgen, misbruik te voorkomen en de systeemstabiliteit te garanderen. Deze gegevens omvatten:

• IP-adres (verwerkt aan de edge, waar mogelijk verkort/geanonimiseerd)
• Datum en tijdstip van het netwerkverzoek
• Opgevraagd pad en HTTP-statuscode
• Browsertype, volledige user-agent-string, apparaattype en besturingssysteem
• Bij benadering herkomst (land/regio) en de verwijzende pagina, indien de browser of edge dit meegeeft

Bewaartermijn: Lokale serverlogs worden uitsluitend gebruikt voor beveiligingsforensisch onderzoek en systeemdiagnose. Ze worden automatisch geroteerd en na 14 dagen permanent verwijderd.
Rechtsgrond: De verwerking is gebaseerd op ons gerechtvaardigd belang (art. 6(1)(f) AVG) om een veilige, secure-by-design en stabiele digitale infrastructuur te onderhouden.

2. Server-side prestatiemeting & Google Analytics

Om de operationele stabiliteit te bewaken en de gebruikerservaring van onze eigen applicaties te optimaliseren, verzamelen wij niet-herleidbare gebruiksstatistieken via Google Analytics (GA4), aangeboden door Google Ireland Limited.

Om uw privacy zo veel mogelijk te waarborgen, gebruiken wij geen traditionele tracking-scripts van derden rechtstreeks in uw browser. In plaats daarvan gebruiken wij een moderne hybride architectuur: alle aanvragen worden geproxyd via onze eigen, centrale first-party server-side tagging-gateway, beheerd binnen de ANGITS-infrastructuur.

• Dataminimalisatie op de gateway: Voordat telemetriegegevens naar Google Analytics worden doorgestuurd, verwijdert onze proxylaag strikt alle persoonlijk identificeerbare informatie (PII), waaronder uw volledige IP-adres en apparaat-fingerprints.
• Geen cross-site tracking: Gegevens die via onze infrastructuur worden verwerkt, worden nooit gebruikt om uw gedrag op andere, niet-gerelateerde websites te volgen, en worden niet verkocht of gedeeld met externe advertentienetwerken voor marketingdoeleinden.
• Toestemming: Prestatie- en analysetracking wordt alleen gestart nadat u hiervoor expliciet toestemming heeft gegeven via onze keuzemodule op het scherm.

Geaggregeerde gebruiksstatistieken die onze eigen dashboards bijhouden — los van Google Analytics — worden beschreven in de volgende sectie.

3. Statistiekdashboards & operationele geschiedenis

Een aantal van onze applicaties (bijvoorbeeld de beschikbaarheidsdashboards voor EV-laadpunten) houdt een eigen, lichtgewicht geschiedenis op schijf bij, zodat trends over tijd kunnen worden getoond in een interne, alleen-op-aanmelding-toegankelijke statistiekweergave. Deze gegevens worden uitsluitend als geaggregeerde aantallen bewaard: ze registreren "hoeveel", nooit "wie". Er wordt geen IP-adres en geen enkel gegeven dat naar een individuele bezoeker te herleiden is, in deze geschiedenis opgeslagen.

Afhankelijk van de applicatie kan deze operationele geschiedenis het volgende omvatten:

• Servicemetingen over tijd — bijvoorbeeld hoeveel EV-laadpunten beschikbaar waren ten opzichte van het totaal op een locatie, periodiek bemonsterd.
• Geaggregeerde bezoekersaantallen over tijd — hoeveel mensen een dashboard bekeken, en hoeveel daarvan zich hadden aangemeld voor een optionele functie zoals beschikbaarheidsmeldingen. Dit zijn eenvoudige tellingen per moment in de tijd.
• Bezoekersgeografie (uitsluitend op landniveau) — een telling per land, per dag, van bezoekers, uitsluitend afgeleid van de grove tweeletterige landcode die Cloudflare aan de edge levert (CF-IPCountry). Er wordt geen stad, GPS, nauwkeurige geolocatie, of IP-adres opgeslagen — alleen een aantal bezoekers per land.
• Technische signalen die uw browser verzendt — zoals uw user-agent (browser- en apparaattype), voorkeurstaal, grove locatie op landniveau, en de verwijzende pagina. Deze worden gebruikt om het dashboard correct weer te geven, om browsermogelijkheden te detecteren (bijvoorbeeld of uw browser pushmeldingen ondersteunt), en om de hierboven genoemde geaggregeerde statistieken samen te stellen. Voor zover dit door de dashboards zelf wordt bewaard, gebeurt dit uitsluitend in geaggregeerde, niet-identificeerbare vorm; de ruwe waarden bestaan verder alleen tijdelijk of in de kortlevende serverlogs zoals beschreven in sectie 1.

Bewaartermijn: Gedetailleerde, fijnmazige geschiedenis is kortlevend en wordt automatisch na ongeveer een halve dag opgeschoond. Verdichte uursamenvattingen en de bezoekersaantallen per land worden tot ongeveer 90 dagen bewaard. Omdat alles geaggregeerd is, is er niets dat een individu identificeert om te bewaren, corrigeren of te wissen.

Toegang: Deze statistiekweergaven zijn niet openbaar. Ze zijn uitsluitend toegankelijk voor geautoriseerde beheerders die inloggen, hetzij met een lokaal account, hetzij via Microsoft Entra ID (single sign-on). Voor deze beheerders wordt de accountidentificatie waarmee zij inloggen uitsluitend verwerkt om hen te authenticeren en de toegang te beveiligen; gewone bezoekers wordt nooit gevraagd om in te loggen.

Vooruitblik (future-proofing): Naarmate wij locaties, dashboards of metingen toevoegen, kunnen wij vergelijkbare technische en gebruikssignalen verzamelen — bijvoorbeeld aanvullende apparaat- of browserkenmerken, grove locatie, of gebruikstellingen van functies — voor dezelfde operationele en statistische doeleinden als hier beschreven. In alle gevallen worden de gegevens geminimaliseerd en uitsluitend in geaggregeerde, niet-identificeerbare vorm bewaard, tenzij en totdat dit beleid wordt bijgewerkt om een ruimer gebruik te beschrijven.

4. Cookies en lokale opslag

Onze applicaties maken gebruik van minimale opslagmechanismen:

• Essentiële cookies (Cloudflare): Cloudflare kan noodzakelijke cookies plaatsen (zoals __cf_bm) uitsluitend om kwaadaardige bot-activiteit te detecteren en de infrastructuur te beschermen. Deze cookies verzamelen geen persoonlijke profielen.
• Functionele opslag: Wij kunnen lokale browseropslag of essentiële sessiecookies gebruiken om uw functionele voorkeuren te onthouden (zoals de status van meldingsschakelaars, visualisatie-indelingen, het automatisch-vernieuwen-interval, of toestemmingscriteria).
• Cookie voor kijkersaantal: Sommige dashboards plaatsen een functionele cookie met een willekeurige, roterende identifier met een levensduur van ongeveer 90 seconden. Deze bestaat uitsluitend om de live-indicator "aantal kijkers" te laten voorkomen dat dezelfde browser twee keer wordt meegeteld; de cookie bevat geen naam, account of profiel en wordt niet gebruikt om u over pagina's of sites heen te volgen.
• Aanmeldsessie (alleen beheerders): De interne statistiekweergaven plaatsen een kortlevende sessiecookie wanneer een beheerder inlogt, uitsluitend om deze voor die sessie geauthenticeerd te houden. Dit wordt nooit ingesteld voor gewone bezoekers.
• Marketingcookies van derden: Omdat wij een aangepaste first-party server-side gegevensroutering gebruiken, worden er geen marketing-, targeting- of advertentietrackingcookies van externe netwerken op uw apparaat geplaatst.

5. Gegevensbeveiliging

Als organisatie die identiteit, toegang en beveiligingsgerichte hulpmiddelen beheert, passen wij strikte technische en organisatorische beveiligingsmaatregelen toe om gegevens te beschermen tegen ongeoorloofde toegang, verlies, wijziging of openbaarmaking. Alle verbindingen binnen de ANGITS-domeinportfolio worden strikt afgedwongen via versleutelde HTTPS (TLS 1.2/1.3).

6. Uw rechten onder de AVG

Op grond van de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG) heeft u specifieke rechten met betrekking tot gegevens die op u betrekking hebben, waaronder het recht op inzage, rectificatie of verwijdering van uw gegevens, en het recht om de verwerking te beperken of hiertegen bezwaar te maken.

Aangezien onze applicatielagen gegevens al bij de gateway sterk anonimiseren en verkorten, bewaren wij over het algemeen geen gegevens die tot u persoonlijk herleidbaar zijn. Voor vragen over uw privacyrechten kunt u echter rechtstreeks contact met ons opnemen.
